Thailand remains fully open and welcoming

Samujana joins the people of Thailand in mourning the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, and extends our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family and the nation during this time of remembrance.

We wish to reassure all our guests and partners that Thailand remains fully open and welcoming. All flights, hotels, transport services, attractions, and hospitality venues continue to operate as normal, with the same warmth and care that Thailand is known for.

The Royal Thai Government has declared a national mourning period to honour Her Majesty’s lifelong dedication and compassion. During this time, visitors are encouraged to dress in subdued colours when visiting temples, royal sites, or government offices.

Certain public events and celebrations may be adjusted to reflect the national sentiment. However, travel plans, holidays, and resort stays will not be disrupted.

Samujana remains, as always, a serene haven for our guests. We thank all visitors for their understanding and sensitivity during this period, and we look forward to welcoming you to Koh Samui with the gracious hospitality of Thailand.
